Each year, thousands of visitors pass through the halls of the Winchester Mystery House. There they learn the history of the strange mansion and its designer, Sarah L. Winchester.

A few years ago, I had the privilege of working at the Mystery House as a tour guide. As a tour guide, I was able to experience the mansion in a way that few others ever will. I learned many of its secrets, and saw parts of the house that few others will ever has a chance to see.

This site is my attempt to share some of that knowledge. If you're visiting Mrs. Winchester's house soon, or have visited it in the past, then I hope my commentary will fill in some of the blanks for you. For others, I hope I can share a little bit of the magic of the mansion, and maybe even inspire you to take a trip to San Jose for a visit to one of the world's most interesting houses.
